daily burden of increase in prices.
"The prices of petrol and diesel witnessed yet another hike on Wednesday and the total increase crossed now Rs10 per litre. This is the 14th increase in fuel prices since the ending of a four-and-half-month long hiatus in rate revision on March 22, 2022.
Talking to Bizz Buzz, Subharansh Rai, National spokesperson -AICC (KKC), says, "Although the government said the increase in prices of petrol was very low in India as compared to developed and other developing nations in the aftermath of the war.
The unabashed posturing of the government has a cascading impact on the poorest of poor and people are left to fend themselves. The Kamgar and Karmachari Congress - KKC of Congress party demand the total rollback of fuel prices and stop perpetuating the daily burden of increase in prices."
In addition to rising inflation, with opening of schools across the country, there's fresh conflict over private school fee hikes and regulation in states. Parents, facing financial hardship due to frequent lockdowns and their impact on the economy. The KKC of Congress party demands to have fees reduced or waived for the duration of the lockdown. Even the school kits including books, stationary have been increased manifolds, he added.
These are all compounding agony of people's livelihood. After all, how long will this torture go like this? Stop playing with people's mandate and immediately rollback anti-people policies.
